Cruise company director jailed for bribery

Former cruise company director Tang Kwong-chuen has been jailed three years and nine months by the District Court for accepting $1 million in bribes for granting business to three transportation companies.

 

Tang, 45, was formerly employed by Star Cruises (HK)

and was found guilty of four counts of an agent accepting an advantage.

 

Between November 1999 and July 2007 he accepted money from Sky Win Investment, Dynamic Launch & Marine Service and Park Wing Transportation Company for granting transportation contracts to them.
