Police have seized $2.4 million worth of contraband computer hard disks in Lantau North and arrested a 20-year-old man.

Officers spotted goods being unloaded from two vans onto two speedboats at a beach near Pak Mong. When they approached the area, the speedboats took off and the vehicles fled.

They seized a total of 137 boxes of computer hard disks and arrested the man for assisting with the unmanifested cargo export.
