Police are appealing for information on a fatal New Year's Eve traffic accident in Wong Tai Sin.

An 80-year-old woman was hit by a van near the junction of Ming Fung and Sheung Fung Streets while crossing the road about 1pm. She suffered head injuries and was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital where she died at 6.13pm.
