Customs officers have seized 30,000 litres of edible oil from an outgoing local fishing vessel, the second case in three weeks.

About 4pm yesterday officers ordered a local fishing vessel sailing at a high speed off Po Toi to stop for inspection but it fled.

It was later intercepted and officers found the oil inside a concealed tank.
