4 arrested for illegal photocopying

Customs & Excise Department

Customs officers have arrested four people and seized 61 photocopied books, four photocopying machines and three binding machines worth $270,000.

 

Following complaints from copyright owners, officers raided four photocopying shops in Shek Kip Mei, Sheung Shui, Causeway Bay and Chai Wan.

 

Two men and two women aged 44 to 59 were arrested and released on bail.
