Fiji has granted visa-free access to Hong Kong Special Administrative Region passport holders for stays of up to six months, becoming the 135th jurisdiction to do so.

Welcoming the move, the Immigration Department said the arrangement is effective immediately, giving greater convenience to HKSAR passport holders and helping bolster trade, business and tourism ties between the two places.

Fijians can visit Hong Kong visa-free for up to 90 days.
