143 to take national judicial exam
*

A total of 143 Hong Kong people have applied to take part in the National Judicial Examination that will be held in the city September 15 and 16.

 

This is the third year examination centres will be set up in Hong Kong. The exam, organised by the National Judicial Examination Centre of the Ministry of Justice, is held simultaneously in different parts of the Mainland.

 

The Hong Kong exam will be held at Kowloon Technical College in Sham Shui Po and the Examinations & Assessment Authority's test centre in Wan Chai.

 

Under the Mainland and Hong Kong Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement, Hong Kong permanent residents with Chinese citizenship are allowed to sit the national examination. Hong Kong residents will be granted a restricted right to practise on the Mainland after passing the exam.
