Police are appealing for information about an August 14 traffic accident in which a 69-year-old man was struck and killed by a private car in Sham Shui Po.

A 49-year-old woman was driving a car northwest on Lai Chi Kok Road at about 6am. Her car reportedly struck the man as he dashed across Wong Chuk Street.

He was sent to Caritas Medical Centre in critical condition and later transferred to Kwong Wah Hospital where he was certified dead at 2.51pm on August 18.

Witnesses should call Police on 2305 7571 or 2305 7500.
