*
Hong Kong Police

A 27-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a 48-year-old woman in Tai Po.

He appeared in Fanling Magistracy this morning.

The woman was found by her son lying unconscious inside the bedroom of their Shin Nga House flat in Fu Shin Estate about 12.40am on September 11. She was confirmed dead by ambulance officers.

The suspect later surrendered himself at Ma On Shan Police Station.

Police believe the man, the victim's boyfriend, attacked her after a dispute on September 8.
