Counterfeit goods seized at Lok Ma Chau
Container contraband: Customs officers have seized $3.1 million worth of counterfeit goods at Lok Ma Chau.

Customs officers have arrested a 46-year-old male driver, following the seizure of $3.1 million worth of counterfeit goods from his container truck at Lok Ma Chau.

 

He has been released on bail.

 

About 10.30am Wednesday, officers stopped the arriving truck from Guangzhou and found counterfeit goods including 10,000 watches, 4,000 garments, 2,000 handbags, 1,000 pairs of shoes, 1,000 mobile phone accessories, 1,800 memory cards and 600 MP3 players.
