Police are seeking witnesses of the fatal traffic accident in the Cross-Harbour Tunnel on August 2.

About 1.30am a car travelling towards Hong Kong Island in the northbound tunnel tube reportedly drove into the opposite lane and collided head-on with a minibus, injuring both drivers and 14 bus passengers.

The 21-year-old car driver was seriously injured and was sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He died yesterday.
