Police are investigating the murder of a woman in a Sham Shui Po arson attack.

A fire erupted in a flat at 137 Un Chau Street about 1.40am today. Fire officers found a 24-year-old Sri Lankan woman lying dead inside the unit and declared the fire suspicious.

A post-mortem examination this afternoon found that she died of suffocation.
