Customs officers have arrested eight people and seized 700 counterfeit products valued at $40,000 in an anti-piracy operation in Mong Kok and Sham Shui Po.

Officers raided nine hawker stalls on Tung Choi and Pei Ho Streets. About 450 items were related to the British soccer league.

The arrestees were three men and five women, aged 22 to 56.
