Caution urged on travel to UK
*

The Security Bureau reminds Hong Kong residents travelling to the UK to stay abreast of  developments there and pay attention to personal safety. The warning comes in the wake of recent incidents of suspected terrorist attacks in the country.

The bureau said the Hong Kong Government would continue to closely monitor the situation.

Hong Kong residents who are abroad and need assistance may contact the local Chinese Embassy/Consulate-General in the country they are visiting, or call the Hong Kong Immigration Department's 24-hour hotline, (852)1868. The telephone numbers and addresses of the Chinese Embassies/Consulates-General overseas can be obtained by calling the Immigration Department, at (852) 2824 6111 or (852) 1868.
