Senior dies in Sham Shui Po crash

Police are investigating a traffic accident in which an 83-year-old woman was killed in Sham Shui Po yesterday.

 

At about 1.40pm yesterday, a 50-year-old man was driving a public light bus along Lai Chi Kok Road towards Mong Kok. The bus reportedly knocked down the 83-year-old woman as she was crossing the road near Nam Cheong Street.

 

The woman was sent to Caritas Medical Centre where she was certified dead at 9.53 last night.

 

The Kowloon West  traffic investigation team is following up. People who have information to offer should call the 2773 5211 or 5220.
