Immigration officials on Mainland visit

A 10-member delegation from the Immigration Department will leave on an 11-day study visit to Beijing, Tianjin and Guiyang on March 14.

 

The visit  aims to enhance understanding and co-operation with the relevant Mainland authorities and promote better working relations with them.

 

Assistant Principal Immigration Officer (Career Development) Jason Leung, five officer grade and four rank-and-file grade staff members will visit their Mainland counterparts to share work experiences.

 

The delegation will visit the Hong Kong & Macau Affairs Office, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Capital International Airport, the Immigration Section of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government's Beijing Office and the Public Security Bureau, Foreign Affairs Office, and travel document and exit endorsement issuing offices in various cities.

 

The delegation will return to Hong Kong on March 24.
