Hidden haul: The 2.75kg of cocaine worth $2.4 million seized from an arriving air passenger.

Police have arrested a 55-year-old man at Hong Kong International Airport, seizing 2.75kg of cocaine.

He was arrested upon his arrival about 1pm yesterday and officers found six slabs of cocaine, worth about $2.4 million, in a false compartment in a suitcase he carried.

He has been charged with drug trafficking and will appear in Tsuen Wan Magistracy tomorrow.
