Police are investigating a case involving a dead body found at the sea off Po Toi Islands on January 28. People who have information to offer should call 2870 7270.

At about 5.15pm on January 28, Marine Police received report that a dead body was floating in the sea off Po Toi Island. It was confirmed later to be that of a man aged about 20 to 40, standing about 1.7 metres and of medium build.

When found, he was wearing a beige long-sleeved T-shirt under a grey long-sleeved grey pullover, a pair of black trousers under dark green PVC trousers, a black belt with a silver-colour buckle and a pair of grey socks. A black wallet with some renminbi notes and Hong Kong dollar notes was also found.

He had no identity document. Initial investigations reveal no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
