Police are seeking information about a traffic accident in Yuen Long in which a 12-year-old boy was killed this morning.

Shortly before 8am, a heavy goods vehicle driven by a 43-year-old reportedly knocked down the boy as he was cycling along Fairview Park Boulevard towards Fairview Park.

Ambulancemen certified the boy dead at the scene.
