Hemp haul: Customs officers have seized $6 million in cannabis and other drugs.

*

The Customs & Excise Department will charge two men for cultivating cannabis plants and drug trafficking. They will appear in Tuen Mun Magistracy tomorrow.

Aged 37 and 34, they were arrested as Customs officers shut down a syndicate running two cannabis plantations yesterday and seized about $6 million in drugs in a Tin Shui Wai flat and a Pat Heung hut. The haul included 383 pots of cannabis plants, 10kg of herbal cannabis, and 3kg of ketamine.

It is believed the drugs would have been sold in West Kowloon entertainment venues.
