Hong Kong Police

A 72-year-old woman died after reportedly being hit by a minibus in Aberdeen. Anyone who saw the accident is urged to contact Police on 3106 8838 or 3106 8800.

At about 9.10am today, a 28-year-old man was driving the minibus along Tin Wan Praya Road towards Wah Kwai Estate. It reportedly knocked down the woman as she was crossing the street near No 9 Tin Wan Praya Road.

The woman was sent to Queen Mary Hospital where she was certified dead at 9.37am.

Investigations by Hong Kong Island's special traffic investigation team are underway.
