Senior killed in Yuen Long crash

An 82-year-old woman was struck and killed by a lorry in Yuen Long today. People who saw the accident or have information to offer should call Police at 2675 3325.

 

At about 4.30am, a 41-year-old man was driving a light goods vehicle on Yau San Street southbound. Near the junction with Kin Lok Street, it reportedly knocked down the elderly woman as she was crossing the road.

 

She was sent to Tuen Mun Hospital where she was certified dead at 10.46am.

 

Investigations will be taken over by the New Territories North special traffic investigation team.
