Man run down by coach dies

An elderly man was killed after being knocked down by a coach in Yau Ma Tei today.

 

About 10.45am the coach was travelling on Jordan Road and reportedly knocked down the man, aged 60 to 70, near the junction with Parkes Street.

 

He was sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he was certified dead at 11.13am.

 

The man, with no identity document found on him, was about 1.7m tall and thinly built. He was wearing a dark blue t-shirt, black trousers and sandals.

 

Anyone with information on the man or who witnessed the accident should call Police on 2773 5262.
