Police are appealing for information on the robbery and murder of a 58-year-old taxi driver attacked with a chopper in Sham Shui Po early today.

The driver was found injured inside his taxi outside 229 Hai Tan Street about 3am. He had been stabbed in the face, right hand and chest, and was sent to the Caritas Medical Centre. He died shortly after noon.

The culprit is believed to be a young man wearing a white cap and a black T-shirt.
