Info sought on fatal traffic accident

Police are appealing for information on a Hung Hom traffic accident in which a 79-year-old man was killed.

 

At about 9.10am on August 8, a minibus driven by a 43-year-old man was travelling along Baker Street heading for Mei Foo. It then made a right-turn onto Gillies Avenue South towards Wuhu Street and allegedly hit the victim who was crossing the road. He sustained a serious head injury and was sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he died five days later.
