Police are probing the robbery of $2.7 million in jewellery in Tsim Sha Tsui, which saw two men stabbed. Anyone who saw the incident or who has information to offer should call 2731 7311.

Shortly after noon today, a 35-year-old man carrying a black briefcase containing diamond jewellery left his office on Hart Avenue with a 22-year-old male colleague. When they walked past 33N Carnarvon Road, up to four men attacked them with knives and fled with the briefcase. Sustaining hand and leg injuries, the victims were sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

A knife was found at the scene. It is believed the culprits fled to Chatham Road and the Tsim Sha Tsui East Rail station entrance on Hankow Road.

Two are aged about 40, are about 1.7 metres tall and have short hair. They wore black clothes and each carried a knife when committing the crime.
