Police arrested 111 people for drink driving during the World Cup period. From June 9 to July 10 Police conducted 2,289 visits to bars and restaurants, offering 4,264 free breath screenings for patrons and handing out more than 93,000 educational leaflets.

Police said although the operation has been completed, officers will continue to take stringent enforcement action against drink driving.
