Alert issued on fake bank website

Monetary Authority logo

The Monetary Authority warns consumers to beware of bogus website www.icbcasiachina.cn, which looks similar to the official Industrial & Commercial Bank of China (Asia) site.

 

ICBC (Asia) has clarified it is not connected with the fake site and has reported the case to Police.

 

Anyone who has provided personal information to the site or who has conducted any transactions on it should contact the bank on 2189 5588 and Police on 2860 5012.
