Fake luxury goods seized in TST

*
Display room

Fakes bagged: Customs & Excise officers have seized $200,000-worth of fake luxury goods in Tsim Sha Tsui.

*

Customs & Excise officers have seized $200,000-worth of fake luxury goods after raiding a display room in a Tsim Sha Tsui shopping mall yesterday.

Officers found 250 counterfeit items, mostly garments, watches and leather goods, and arrested a 58-year-old man. The display room was disguised as a tailor shop.

The fakes highly resembled the genuine goods and sold at high prices.

The public are urged to call the Customs hotline 2545 6182 to report any suspected counterfeiting activities.
