*
Hong Kong Police

A 48-year-old man has been charged in a suspected murder and theft case after a 28-year-old woman's body was found in Tai Mo Shan Country Park in Tsuen Wan last night.

A 31-year-old man reported his wife missing on April 20 after she failed to return to her Wong Tai Sin home after leaving at noon that day.

Kowloon East Regional Crime Unit officers began investigating, and arrested the 48-year-old man in connection with the case in Tsim Sha Tsui on Saturday morning.

The missing woman's body was found at about 8:30 Sunday night, inside a nylon bag and dumped in hillside bushes in Tai Mo Shan Country Park.

A post-mortem will be conducted later today.

The 48-year-old man appeared in Magistrate's court this morning.
