The Monetary Authority warns consumers to beware of fraudulent website www.ub-cn.net, which resembles the official website of the Bank of Communications' Hong Kong Branch.
The bank has clarified it has no connection with the fraudulent website and has reported it to Police.
Anyone who has used the site, or provided personal information on it, should contact the bank on 2269 9699 and Police on 2860 5012.
