Anna Wu, Paul Shieh join Law Reform Commission
*
Law Reform Commission

Chief Executive Donald Tsang has appointed Anna Wu and Paul Shieh as members of the Law Reform Commission, with effect from January 1 and February 1, for terms of three years.

 

Ms Wu is a solicitor with a long record of public service. She is a former member of the Legislative Council, and has chaired the Equal Opportunities Commission and the Consumer Council.

 

Mr Shieh is a Senior Counsel who is currently a member of the Law Reform Commission's Conditional Fees sub-committee.

 

Current members of the commission are:

* Secretary for Justice Wong Yan Lung (Chairman);

* Chief Justice Andrew Li;

* Law Draftsman Tony Yen;

*Justice Bokhary;

* Dr John Bacon-Shone;

* Prof Albert Chen;

* Anthony Chow;

* Prof YK Fan;

* Prof Michael McConville; and

* Benjamin Yu.
