Digital loot: Some of the electronic components lost in the Tsuen Wan robbery.

*

Police appeal for information about a November Tsuen Wan robbery involving $2 million worth of electronic parts.

Shortly after 8pm on November 22, a 55-year-old man loaded 208 boxes of electronic components onto his lorry in an industrial building on Fui Yiu Kok Street.

When he was about to leave, someone smashed the driver's window with a knife handle, took hold of the steering wheel and forced the victim to move to the passenger seat.

The culprit drove the lorry for a short distance to pick up an associate. The victim managed to escape and called Police.

The lorry was later found in a container park near Wong Uk Tsuen in Tuen Mun, but all the electronic components were missing.

The first person was aged 25 to 30 years, stood about 1.7 metres tall and is of thin build. The second person, aged about 40, stood about 1.67 metres tall and was stocky. They wore blue jackets and blue jeans at the time of the incident.

Anyone with information can call the Tsuen Wan District Crime Squad on 2417 5363.
