Police have arrested 15 people in Mong Kok for drugs-related offences and seized psychotropic drugs worth about $375,000.

Undercover Police officers successfully completed some controlled-buy transactions in an operation that began in November.

Mong Kok Special Duty Squad officers raided a disco in Mong Kok Road and a ballroom in Bute Street. Thirteen men and two women, aged 17 to 70, were arrested for trafficking in and possession of dangerous drugs.

Ecstasy, ketamine, cocaine, cannabis, and Erimin 5 were also seized in the operation.

Police reiterated they will crack down on the abuse of psychotropic drugs during the Christmas and New Year holidays.
