A man was killed and another man injured in Cheung On Estate in Tsing Yi yesterday.

Police received a report at about 8.25pm that an injured man was lying in a corridor on a floor in On Pak House.

Officers found the man with slash wounds to his body. They later found a 48-year-old man with similar cuts in a flat on the same floor.

The two men were sent to Princess Margaret Hospital where the man from the hallway was certified dead at 9pm.

A post-mortem will be conducted. Kwai Tsing's District Crime Squad is investigating.
