Two new members have been appointed to the Consumer Legal Action Fund Management Committee for a two-year term, while two members have been re-appointed.
The new members are Anthony Chan and Amanda Liu while Larry Kwok and Leung Lit-on have been re-appointed.
The government expressed its gratitude towards Mr Kwok and Mr Leung for agreeing to continue to serve on the committee, and thanked outgoing members Prof Anthony Cheung and Alisa Kwan for their contributions.
The Consumer Legal Action Fund was established in 1994 to help consumers take legal action against unscrupulous traders.
The Consumer Council is the fund's trustee. The management committee helps the council manage the fund and determine the eligibility of applications to it.
