Malaysian arrested for drug smuggling

Customs seizes ketamine

Excess baggage: Two kilograms of ketamine were sealed in 45 sachets of "health food" and in a concealed bag.

Customs officers have arrested a 30-year-old Malaysian man at the airport, carrying 2kgs of ketamine worth $500,000 in his luggage.

 

He was checked after arriving on a flight from Kuala Lumpur yesterday, and officers found the drugs in 45 sachets of "health food" and in a bag concealed in the bottom of his luggage.

 

He has been charged with trafficking and will appear in Tsuen Wan Magistracy tomorrow.
