A man has been jailed five months for helping a Mainland woman use another person's passport to get into Hong Kong.
Chu Kim-sing, 46, was convicted and sentenced today at Sha Tin Magistracy.
The woman admitted she intended to transit Hong Kong to seek employment in Canada. Chu gave her the passport and told her to use it for arrival clearance at Lok Ma Chau checkpoint. She knew the passport data, including the photo, were not hers.
She admitted to one charge of making false representation to an immigration officer and was jailed four months.
