Disc detection: Customs officers seized 46,183 pirated optical discs and other counterfeit goods.

Customs officers have seized 46,183 pirated optical discs and 124 cartons of counterfeit goods, with a total value of $1.34 million, from an incoming lorry at Man Kam To Control Point. The 45-year-old driver has been arrested.

 

At 7.30am yesterday, officers intercepted the lorry, declared to be carrying metal goods, artificial flowers, plastic goods, handicraft, shoes, stationery and toys.
