The Immigration Department has received 77 requests for help from Hong Kong residents in London after a series of explosions rocked the British capital.

All the requests are related to unsuccessful attempts to contact their family members or friends in the UK. Contacts have been established with 60 of the Hong Kong residents concerned, and there is no information indicating any casualties involving Hong Kong residents so far.

The Government is liaising with the Travel Industry Council and the Chinese Embassy in the UK to offer assistance.
