ICAC

A Detective Senior Police Constable has been charged for allegedly taking a $10,000 bribe and blackmailing a person to collect it for him. Yiu Shu-pui, 43, will face the charge in Kowloon City Magistracy on June 23.

Yiu is alleged to have accepted $10,000 from a man on April 12 as reward for abstaining from taking appropriate action against him for a suspected deception. Yiu also allegedly threatened a man to collect the money for him on April 12 at Chung Hau Street, Ho Man Tin.
