A DVD of the third series of the TV docu-drama The Road Back, jointly produced by the Correctional Services Department and Radio Television Hong Kong, will be distributed free to visitors to the Correctional Services Museum from June 1.

The well-received 10-episode series was broadcast from September to November, 2004. It ranked sixth in the 2004 Appreciation Index Survey.

The drama, which was based on real stories, portrayed how a group of offenders and inmates underwent rehabilitation.

A total of 10,000 copies of the DVD in Cantonese have been produced with Chinese and English subtitles. Apart from being distributed to schools, youth organisations and community groups, 2,000 copies are available for public collection at the Correctional Services Museum on a first-come-first-served basis.

People may also request a copy of the DVD through mail by enclosing a self-addressed envelope (affixed with a stamp of $4.40) before June 30.

They should mark on the envelope the words "Request for Road Back DVD" and enclose a self-addressed envelope with minimum size of 174mm x 250 mm.
