A Police sergeant convicted of taking bribes to tip-off Mong Kok brothels on impending raids was sentenced to three years in jail at District Court today.

Between September 2003 and last May, Leung Choi, 46, accepted about $40,000 in bribes from a pimp for information on Police anti-vice operations and Immigration Department activities in the district.
