Customs officers have seized 20,000 pirated discs worth $600,000 from 15 shops in Mong Kok's Sino Centre. Fifteen men, aged 19 to 50, were arrested.

Most of the fake Japanese cartoon discs were a well-packed box set.

Customs said it will continue mounting intensive follow-up operations and maintain close co-operation with copyright owners.
