The Housing Authority respects the Court of Appeal's decision today to grant aJudicial Review applicant an extension of time to apply for leave to appeal to the Court of Final Appeal.

The authority will monitor progress and consult its advisers with a view to relaunching The Link Real Estate Investment Trust as soon as practicable.
   
The authority hopes the review committee chaired by the Registrar of High Court will reach its decision soon on whether to grant legal aid to the applicant.

She will then be in a position to decide whether to proceed or abandon her expressed intention to appeal to the Court of Final Appeal.
