At 4.15pm the culprit went into a restaurant on Hysan Avenue and reportedly fired one shot at the man who had finished his meal and was walking down the restaurant's staircase. It is believed the pair struggled. The shooter fled after the incident and the victim's watch was reported missing.

The victim was sent to Queen Mary Hospital with abdominal injuries.

Standing about 1.73 metres, the culprit has a muscular build and was wearing a light-coloured knit hat, a white mask, a coat and dark trousers.
