A 59-year-old man has been jailed three years for possessing forged travel documents, identity cards and other false instruments.

Leung Koon-wai was convicted at the District Court for possession of three Hong Kong SAR passports, one British National (Overseas) passport, five forged ID cards and two false Home Visit Permits.

They were seized during an Immigration Department raid on his home in November. Investigations found he committed the offence for pecuniary reward. He bought the documents from a Mainland syndicate and would act on instructions to dispose of them.
