*
Drainage Services Department

The Drainage Services Department is investigating a fatal accident at Tai Po Sewage Treatment Works.

Department supervisor Lui Kin-chuen's body was found at the bottom of a sedimentation tank at noon today. An extensive search was launched when he went missing after completing an assigned job at the plant at about 2am.

Director of Drainage Services Raymond Cheung expressed his condolences to the Lui family, and the department is offering them any assistance needed.

Mr Lui joined the department in 1989 and has been working at the works since July, 1999.
