Abandoned: Police appeal for information about this youngster found wandering in a Wong Tai Sin shopping mall. The name Chow Kin-shing was written in Chinese on his left forearm, but he cannot speak.

Police are anxious to locate the next-of-kin of a boy, about five or six years old, who was found abandoned in Wong Tai Sin on Wednesday.

At about 1 pm, a passer-by found the boy wandering inside a fast food shop on Level One of Wong Tai Sin Shopping Centre and made a report to Police.

The boy is about five to six years of age and about a metre tall. He was wearing a brown and grey jacket, blue sports pants and black shoes.

The name Chow Kin-shing was written in Chinese on his left forearm, but he cannot speak.

Police urged the boy's relatives or anyone with information to contact the investigating officers at 2352 9339.
