Three people have died and an elderly woman was injured in a fire in Wong Tai Sin early this morning.

Police received reports of the fire, at a flat in Lung Hing House in Lower Wong Tai Sin Estate, at about 4am.

Police and firefighters evacuated about 200 people from the building, including a 72-year-old woman who collapsed and was sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

When the fire was put out, the bodies of three adults were found in a flat on the building's sixteenth floor. They have not been identified.
